Susan Sandoval Ovarian Cancer Run

I was so lucky in get involved with the 3rd Annual Susan Sandoval Run for Ovarian Cancer. That is the type of cancer my mom died of. It was such an honor to get to help plan and execute the event. We had so many family members and friends that came to participate in my mom's memory. The run was held at Sugar House Park in Salt Lake City. They had the biggest turn out ever and raised more money than they have in the past!! Its an event I know my mom would have been proud of. I only wish she could have been there to join in. Love you mom!! Hopefully this run will raise awareness and money for research so other people don't have to lose their moms, wives, grandma's, sisters, friends, etc.

Heber Valley

A couple of weekends ago we had our annual Stevenson family reunion at Heber Valley Camp. It was such a great time. It's always a great time to get caught up and watch the kids play and enjoy nature. This year was full of chit chatting by the fire, good food, fun stories by the fire, long walks, and soccer. This is one of my favorite traditions and we had another great year.

Temple Day

So ever since my niece Cami turned 12 which was oh 3.5 yrs ago we have talked about doing baptisms at the temple together. Well we finally made it. But by now Matthew, Zachary, and Anna are old enough as well so we all went. We went to the Salt Lake Temple. It was such a fun morning to go all together. The helper ladies had a hard time figuring out who was the leader of this group. Without make up Cami probably looks older than me, heck with make up she looks older than me! But none the less it was a great thing to do together and we can't wait til we do it again. Maybe in another 3 yrs jk. Love you guys to pieces.

Driving Crumps, Scout Camp, and Fishing....

My time with my sis Des and her co. My niece whom I affectionately refer to as Duck got her learner's permit so my sis and I took her driving. Mind you it was just the church parking lot. A little iffy at first with the whole braking action. But she turned out to be a pro. Now if she can just get a sense of direction she will be ready to hit the road.

My dad and I went up to Camp Steiner in the Uintah's to visit Zacho, Mathew, and Scott who were having a grand ole time out scout camp. It was so fun to visit with them and here all the crazy camp stories. Esp swimming in freezing scout lake! You guys are tough. Afterward my dad and I hit up a bit o' fishin at a few of the gorgeous lakes. I love the Uintah's.
